Class and student management software for Young Engineers licensees
Last updated: 18 June 2026 · Effective date: 18 June 2026
1. About ClassWise and this notice
ClassWise is software operated by E Square Young Engineers Franchising Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), 34034 West 8 Mile Road, Suite 102, Farmington Hills, MI 48335, USA, Identification Number 800757868, for its licensees (independent schools and licensees, each a “Licensee”). Licensees and their instructors use ClassWise to enrol and manage students, record attendance and notes, communicate with parents or guardians, and handle class payments and leads.
The ClassWise software and brand are owned by YE Wise Learning Solutions (Reg. HE 476229, Danaon 4, Aradippou, Cyprus, 7100) and are used by the operator under licence.
Our role. For the personal data of students and parents entered into ClassWise, the Licensee decides why and how that data is used and is therefore the “controller”. Young Engineers processes that data on the Licensee’s behalf and on its instructions, and is the “processor”. This notice explains how Young Engineers handles data in that processor role. The terms governing this relationship are set out in the Data Processing Agreement between Young Engineers and the Licensee.

2. Whose data is in ClassWise
ClassWise holds personal data about:
•Students (children) — the children enrolled in a Licensee’s classes.
•Parents and guardians (caregivers) — the adults linked to those students.
•Licensee users — the Licensee’s owners, administrators, and instructors who log in.
3. What data ClassWise processes
| Category | Examples | Where it is stored |
| Student identity | name, email, phone, address, profile photo | Our database on AWS; photos in AWS storage |
| Student details | date of birth, age, gender, and free-text instructor notes (which may contain sensitive information such as allergies) | Our database on AWS |
| Attendance and progress | class attendance and related records | Our database on AWS |
| Parent / guardian | name, email, phone, address, photo, relationship to the child | Our database on AWS |
| Payments | class payment records (card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored by us) | Our database on AWS; processing by Stripe / Viva |
| Leads (prospective students) | for prospective enrolments: parent contact details and the child’s name and date of birth | Stored in Zoho CRM until the lead is converted to a student (see Section 6) |
| Licensee user accounts | name, email, login credentials, role | Our database on AWS |
4. Why we process it (on the Licensee’s instructions)
We process the data only to provide ClassWise to the Licensee: to enrol and manage students, record attendance and notes, manage parent contacts, process class payments, manage leads, and support and secure the service. We do not use student or parent data for our own marketing, do not show behavioural advertising, and do not sell personal data.
5. Who we share it with (sub-processors)
We use a small number of trusted providers that process data on our behalf to run ClassWise. The current list is:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
| Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Hosting the database and file storage (photos, backups) | All ClassWise records and photos |
| Zoho CRM | Managing leads before they become students | Lead parent contact details + child name and date of birth |
| Stripe / Viva | Processing class payments | Payment transaction data |
| Email providers (SES / Postmark / Resend) | Sending transactional email | Recipient email addresses |
| Microsoft / Google / Apple | Optional sign-in for Licensee users | Licensee user login identity |
| Firebase (Google) | Push notifications | Device push tokens |
| Anthropic (Claude) | An optional AI assistant for Licensee administrators | The text a Licensee user types into the assistant |
6. Leads and Zoho CRM
When a Licensee records a prospective student (a “lead”), that information — including the parent’s contact details and the child’s name and date of birth — is stored in Zoho CRM, not in the main ClassWise database. Only when the Licensee converts the lead into an enrolled student is a record created in the ClassWise database.
7. Where data is processed
ClassWise data is hosted on AWS. Lead data is held in Zoho CRM. Because Young Engineers and its Licensees operate internationally, data may be processed in countries other than the child’s own; where required we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.
8. How long we keep it
We keep data for as long as the Licensee uses ClassWise to manage the relevant student or parent, and as instructed by the Licensee. When a Licensee deletes a student or parent record, the data is removed. Lead data in Zoho CRM follows the Licensee’s retention settings there.
9. Security
We take measures to protect the data, including access controls and role-based access so instructors see only the students assigned to them, encrypted connections to our providers, encryption of stored personal data, and restricted access to stored photos and backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information ClassWise handles.
10. Rights
Requests from students or parents to access, correct, or delete their data are directed to the Licensee as controller. Young Engineers assists the Licensee in responding to such requests as set out in the Data Processing Agreement.
